Volunteer with ISS

International Student Services (ISS) recruits volunteers throughout the year to assist with our events. Students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to take advantage of these wonderful opportunities to interact with and assist both new and current international students at Texas A&M University!

ISS hosts the following major events and programs each Fall and Spring semester for which we regularly need volunteer assistance:
  • International Student Conference
  • International Aggie Welcome Party
  • Dinner In A U.S. Home
Below are descriptions of each event and information about how you can volunteer.

International Student Conference (ISC)
This event is an opportunity for all new and current international students to attend concurrent sessions about a variety of topics, including: health care, fiscal responsibility, culture shock, Aggie traditions, job searching, and career connections. Volunteers will be needed to help set up, assist presenters, serve food, clean up, and much more.

International Aggie Welcome Party (IAWP)
This event is a chance for all new international students to come together to hang out and meet ISS staff as well as other international students. Volunteers will be helping set up, serve food, hand out t-shirts, clean up, and a variety of other responsibilities throughout the night. Volunteers are more than welcome to participate in activities, enjoy the food, and interact with the students.
