ISS Webinars

Please find below all the various webinars ISS has to offer. Be sure to check back frequently for updates!

F-1 international students interested in participating in an internship or co-op should attend an in-person CPT workshop or participate in a CPT webinar.

Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is off-campus work authorization for employment (whether it is paid or unpaid), such as an internship or co-op, for F-1 international students to receive further training. Come and learn how to obtain CPT authorization from ISS and what you will need to do to remain in status while you are authorized for CPT. This workshop will discuss the requirements, how to request authorization, and other information related to CPT.

Please check the Curricular Practical Training link for a schedule of upcoming workshops/webinars and the registration link.

F-1 students interested in having practical work experience in the U.S. after completing their academic program are encouraged to attend an in-person OPT Workshop or participate in an OPT webinar.

Optional Practical Training (OPT) is temporary employment available to F-1 students. The employment must be related to the student's field of study and commensurate with the student's education level. F-1 students may be eligible for up to 12 months of OPT per degree level. Attend the OPT workshop to learn more about how to request this F-1 work authorization and how it can be utilized after graduation.
*NOTE: Completion of an OPT Workshop is not required prior to applying for a Post-Completion OPT recommendation from ISS.
