TAMU EAB Navigate

Effective February 1, 2021, ISS will be using EAB Navigate to support three of our customer service efforts:

  1. Virtual advising appointments with ISS advisors
  2. Virtual drop-in advising times with ISS advisors
  3. Front desk appointments for document pick-up at the ISS office
For all three services, students can now click Get Assistance in EAB Navigate and select ISS - International Student Services.

1. Scheduling Appointments with ISS Advisors
Students will now be able to schedule an appointment with an ISS advisor online using EAB Navigate. This process will replace our current system of students calling the ISS office or coming to the ISS lobby to schedule an appointment.
As we continue to follow COVID-19 safety protocol, all appointments will be conducted through Zoom. To schedule an appointment, students can use the EAB Navigate Mobile App or website to indicate the primary topic they want to discuss and then they will be able to view and select from the available appointments. Students will also be able to set up appointment reminders through EAB Navigate.
2. Virtual Drop-In Advising
Students will now have the opportunity to speak with an ISS advisor virtually during drop-in advising times. Students will access a Zoom link provided in EAB Navigate and will be added to a virtual waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis. Virtual drop-in advising will typically be available on the following dates and times each week.
  • Monday: 8:30-11:30am and 1:30-4:30pm
  • Tuesday: 8:30-11:30am and 1:30-4:30pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30-11:30am
  • Thursday: 8:30-11:30am and 1:30-4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:30-11:30am and 1:30-4:30pm
To check if there is an advisor available for virtual drop-in advising, students will be able to login to their EAB Navigate account, choose the topic they are needing assistance with, and see if an advisor is available for drop-in advising during a time that works with the student’s schedule.
3. Front Desk Pick-Up Appointments
Students will now schedule a time to pick up their document from the ISS office via EAB Navigate instead of using SWAN. Front desk appointments are reserved for document pick-up only. Students will need to arrive at the ISS office at the specified appointment time, bring a picture ID, and wear a mask to enter the Pavilion building.  To schedule a front desk appointment for document pick-up, students should choose Front Desk as the topic they are needing assistance with and they will be able to select from all available front desk appointments. Detailed information about visiting the ISS office can be found at https://iss.tamu.edu/About-ISS.
