International Student Services moving September 19 and is closed September 19 - 26

Posted on Tuesday, Sep 06, 2016

International Student Services is scheduled to move to Bizzell Hall West (second and third floors) during the week of September 19.  The office will be closed September 19 and will re-open to the public on September 27.  The logistics and timing of the move require ISS to operate with very limited services.  ISS is scheduled to return to the Pavilion once renovations are completed in January 2017.

During the week of the move, the ISS front counter in Bizzell Hall West and the Pavilion will be closed.  Students may submit applications electronically to iss@tamu.edu.  Sponsored students may submit requests to sspfinance@tamu.edu.  I-20s and DS-2019s that have been processed will need to be picked up by noon on September 16 or after September 27.
It is possible that the ISS telephone lines will not be functional during the move.  ISS will check the phone messages and provide as much assistance as possible during this time period.  Staff will also be monitoring emails.  Unfortunately, it will not be possible to have student appointments during the move.  ISS may not be able to process any I-20s or DS-2019s during the week of the 19th and the move itself may cause longer processing times for some requests.

If there is an emergency situation that requires ISS assistance please contact our main line at 979-845-1824. We will have staff that will be reviewing the messages and will return phone calls in emergency situations.

Thank you for your patience during the move.
