ISS Student Listserv Subscriptions

International Student Services is committed to providing services and support to the incoming international students, current international students, former international students, and staff and faculty at Texas A&M University.
 
ISS provides information on federal regulations, state laws, and university guidelines that impact international students, serves a liaison for international students, provides community and campus outreach opportunities that promote interactions between the U.S. and international populations, and assists in international students’ transition to life in the United States and at Texas A&M University. The information provided through this listserv is meant to assist in that purpose. 
 
International Student Services has two optional Listservs available for current and former international students at Texas A&M University:

Current International Students
If you would like to receive optional information, updates, and reminders about issues impacting current international students, please join the ISS (International Student Services) Listserv.
  1. The purpose of the ISS Listserv is to provide current international students an opportunity to learn about important information and opportunities of events and activities on campus and in the community that would be of value and interest to international students.

Guidelines for Sending Information to ISS Listservs
  1. Please make sure that the information sent is valuable to the recipient as well as the sender.
  2. Please make sure that the information sent is appropriate, respectful, and inclusive for all international students.
  3. Please make sure that the information sent adheres to the Aggie Core Values.
  4. Please make sure to allow at least 3-5 days prior to the date of the event or activity.
  5. Please make sure to write exactly how you want your information to be presented to the recipient in the email to the Listserv.
  6. It is not guaranteed that all information sent to the listservs will be posted. We will review all information to make sure it is both valuable and appropriate for the intended recipients.
